We all like to save something. What better than a whole city?

The desecration of Dunedin landscape is a local environmental crime of global proportions. We propose to heal and restore the landscape scars to what they were before the profit-driven European merchant class and NGOs settled and destroyed. The city stain of Dunedin must be eliminated. The upper harbour wetlands.

The proposal is to demolish all buildings and resite all habitation undergound.
Unclaim/declaim all land seaward of the 1846 shoreline

This endeavour should attract the support of the Department of Conservation, Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment, Forest and Bird, Historic Places Trust, Stop the Stadium, Save the Otago Peninsula, Upland Landscape Preservation Society, Save Central, Maniototo Environmental Society, a group of disgruntled ex-Otago Museum staff, Coal Action Network Aotearoa, Paua to the People, Oil Free Otago, Tomatoes NZ, Fluoride Free Antipodes
